Hoodia Appetite Suppressants

Hoodia Appetite Suppressants -

Hoodia Gordonii is an all natural appetite suppressant. Hoodia is a form of cactus that is found in the semi-deserts of Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Angola.

Hoodia was first discovered by the San Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert hundreds of years ago. It was first introduced into Western Culture in 1937 when a Dutch Anthropologist was studying the San Bushmen and noticed that the tribesman would eat the stems of the plants to suppress their appetite during times of hunger and thirst.

Years after its Western discovery in 1937 the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), South Africa's national laboratory, began studying Hoodia and the active ingredient that fooled the brain into believing its hungry. Scientists isolated and extracted the active ingredient in Hoodia, a steroidal glycoside, which they named p57 and converted it into a pill form which is what you can take today!
